No family should put off care because the nearest clinic is an hour away or because they can't cover the visit. Jessica will work to keep our rural clinics and hospitals open, bring costs down, and make sure a medical bill never breaks a family's budget.
In a small town, the school is a whole lot more than a building. It's where our kids grow up, where neighbors run into each other, and where everybody shows up on a Friday night. Jessica will fight to fund our schools the way they deserve, stand behind our teachers, keep the big decisions in local hands, and give every kid a fair shot no matter their zip code.
Families here are paying more for groceries, gas, and just about every necessity, and paychecks haven't kept up. Jessica will push back on the policies driving those costs higher and fight for a tax system that doesn't dump the bill on working people.
Small businesses and the people who work in them are the backbone of our local economy. Jessica will invest in them and in the basics they need to compete: better roads, and the reliable internet that rural Missouri has done without for too long. Our part of the state shouldn't keep getting left behind.

Our deputies, firefighters, EMTs, and corrections officers do hard, dangerous work so the rest of us are safe. Jessica will make sure they get fair pay, the right training, and the equipment to do the job, plus the support it takes to recruit and keep good people on the job.
